Conveniently located “in the shed on the southern side of town” in Mataranka, Roper River Transport are a family run business specialising in vehicle servicing for all makes and models, including commercial fleet vehicles. We are also a Digicall Contractor and Allianz Global Assist Contractor.

Roper River Transport was established in 2002 when owner Kain Angel purchased his first prime mover and drop deck and expanded with the purchase of 4 Gulf side tippers, & additional side Tippers, tilt tray trucks, prime movers, super tilt tilt semi drop decks and a fleet of Toyotas. As the transport side of the business tends to get a bit quiet during the wet, Kain acquired Willys Autos workshop in 2007 and now regularly service and repair vehicles in and around Mataranka, Elsey and Katherine and the surrounding areas.

We are a Light and Heavy Vehicle Workshop providing Registration Inspections for motorbikes, passenger vehicles, plant machinery and heavy vehicles. We are also a Child Restraint Fitting centre.

We provide Car Air Conditioning Service and Auto Electrical work and our fully qualified log book servicing ensures your car is in safe hands, and Roper River Transport provide quality car service and repairs on all models, including four wheel drive and Diesel vehicles.
